The ‘Coaching’ Industry Needs a Massive Overhaul

What I’m about to share might infuriate some ‘coaches’ out there. And I’m OK with that.

I’ve spent years walking beside people through their transformation. And while I’ve witnessed extraordinary beauty in this work, I’ve also seen how far the coaching industry has drifted from integrity.

We’ve entered an age where “coaching” has become a gold rush, fueled by branding, income claims, and formulas that promise freedom but often deliver vapid, superficial cheerleading zoom calls that lead to further disconnection. Freedom has turned into a product to be sold, and the individual humans they are here to serve are merely numbers in their bank accounts.

The industry celebrates mindset while neglecting the soul of individual human beings. It charges thousands for ‘containers’ that aren’t trauma-informed, grounded or relationally safe. In many ways, it’s capitalism turned on its own head - feeding on the very people it claims to liberate.

Let me be clear: transformation is sacred work. It’s not something to be sold like a luxury vacation.

In my practice, we do something much less flashy, and far more radical. We return to the body. We breathe. Move. Listen. We let emotion move. We remember what it feels like to be alive.

And I charge in a way that honors both my expertise and accessibility, because I truly believe that healing shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for the wealthy.

The real revolution in coaching isn’t a new funnel or mindset hack. It’s embodiment, guided with integrity.

When someone asks me to walk with them through their becoming, that is holy ground. And I bow to my clients with the deepest respect and care. My clients are not numbers and they are not my next sales goal.

They are humans with hearts, minds, bodies and souls - and it is an absolute honor when they choose to work with me.
